I LOVE a good Tessa Hale trilogy, but I’m pretty sure this one is already shaping up to be her best yet. 👏🏻🔥

Because WOW.

Poor Rae. 😂

If I were in her position, I would have needed approximately six therapists, a vacation, and probably a padded room after everything that happens to her in the span of basically HOURS.

Imagine going from living your completely normal human life to suddenly finding out:

You’re a witch.

Your biological family sucks. Not literally. 😂

You’re betrothed to a witch prince.

The guy you thought was your best friend has secretly been a vampire THE ENTIRE TIME.

You have FOUR FATED MATES.

I was stressed just reading about it.

Rae constantly thinking about how she couldn’t even imagine handling ONE fated mate, let alone four, had me laughing because… SAME. 😂

But honestly? I have to give this girl credit.

Everything she thought she knew about her life gets completely ripped away from her, and somehow she manages to keep going. She’s thrown into a world of magic, vampires, witches, political alliances, family secrets, and fated mates, and while she obviously has plenty to process, she handles it WAY better than I would have.

I would have simply laid down and refused to participate. 😂

👀 And Then There Are THE MEN

Because obviously we need to talk about them.

And Tessa Hale did not disappoint.

🔥 Kian

I loved Kian immediately.

His instant love for Rae was EVERYTHING.

There is just something about a man who takes one look at his woman and is basically like yep, that’s mine that gets me every single time.

He knows.

He feels it.

He is ALL IN.

And I am absolutely here for it. 👏🏻🔥

✨ Rhys

It was SO much fun getting to see Rhys more in depth after Wolves of Crescent Creek.

His backstory absolutely broke my heart, and honestly, I can’t blame him for the way he feels about being fated to Rae.

There is a LOT going on there, and I’m dying to see how his relationship with Rae develops.

I have questions.

So many questions.

And I need answers.

This man amuses me for some reason. 😂

I can't even fully explain it.

There is just something about him that makes me want MORE.

I’m already intrigued, and after that ending?

I NEED MORE NYX IN THE NEXT BOOK.

We barely get Torrin before the book ends, but…

I’M GETTING CAEL VIBES. 👀

👑 The World-Building Had Me Hooked

One of my favorite things about this book was how much there is still left to uncover.

The world-building, the magic, the fated mates, the history between the kingdoms, and especially the mystery surrounding Rae’s power had me completely hooked.

There is SO much we still don’t know.

And you know what I love?

I’m already trying to piece everything together.

I have theories.

I have questions.

I’m suspicious of approximately everyone. 😂

And I NEED to know what Rae actually is capable of.

😭 THAT ENDING.

Because of course.

OF COURSE Tessa Hale had to end this book with a cliffhanger.

I finished the book and literally sat there staring at my ceiling thinking:

WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS TO MYSELF?! 😂😭

And now I’m left desperately needing the next book in the Blood Bound series because I NEED ANSWERS.

I need more of these men.

I need Rae to figure out her powers.

I need to know what is happening with these kingdoms.

I need answers about the fated mates.

And I absolutely, positively need to know WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.

Crown of Crimson and Crows pulled me in almost immediately, and by the time I reached the end, I was completely invested in Rae, her four mates, the world around them, and all the secrets still waiting to come out.

It has magic.

Vampires.

Witches.

Fated mates.

Political alliances.

Mystery.

Tension.

Found family.

And four men I am already very attached to. 👀

Plus a cliffhanger that basically said, “Thanks for reading. Now suffer.”

And apparently I will.

Because I need Book 2 YESTERDAY.
